Vail / Eagle Valley

Whitewater at it's best! Vail has a variety of whitewater rafting opportunities ranging from mild to wild.
Located approximately 2 hours west of Denver along the I-70 corridor this area has some of Colorado's most accessible rivers. You can choose from the Colorado, Eagle and Arkansas Rivers with their class II-IV and even class V whitewater.
The Colorado River

Certainly the West's most famous river is the Colorado. The Colorado comes alive high up along the Continental Divide and begins it's 1,440 mile journey through 3 states before ending at the Gulf of Califonia.

Considered one of the TOP 3 Most Difficult commercial runs in the United States.

(Season is August to September)

Previous Class V experience is a must. Guests are swim tested and taught special safety skills before entering the canyon.

The Eagle River

Unlike is western counter-parts the Eagle River is not dam controlled therefore the Eagle demonstrates the classic mood swings of Spring. Raging levels from snow melt spills from the Divide in early June and then mellowing in mid to late summer.

Continuous rapids on our high altitude alpine river. Action-packed! Only 10 minutes away from Vail and Beaver Creek.

The Arkansas River

The Arkansas is considered the nation's most popular whitewater destination by visitors to the state. More than 100 boatable miles of whitewater, the Arkansas hosting over 250,000 rafters each year. With ease of accessibility and huge range of ability level you'll soon see why the Arkansas is one of the States hot spots for summer vacationers.

Brown's Canyon   Class III

Beautiful, rocky canyon with pool-drop rapids. Widow maker, Zoom Flume, Pinball, and Seidel's Suckhole!

Granite/Pine Creek/Numbers   Class IV-V

The most challenging rafting on the Arkansas River! This section is continuous and is filled with pourovers and steep drops. In the heart of Colorado's highest peaks.This section does includes the Numbers portion as well.

For physically fit, experienced rafters.
Minimum age 18 years.
