The Arkansas River Valley

Whitewater river rafting on the Arakansas River, Colorado. Located in the Heart of Colorado, the Arkansas commonly reffered to as the "Ark" flows south along the eastern side of the Conitential Divide starting just north of Leadville and winding south towards Salida, Colorado. From here the river turns abruptly due east and heads towards the Missisippi on it's 1,472 mile long journey.
You can choose from a variety of trips on the Arkansas River with it's class III-V whitewater.
The Arkansas River

The Arkansas is considered the nation's most popular whitewater rafting destination by visitors to the state. More than 100 boatable miles of whitewater, the Arkansas River hosts over 250,000 rafters each year. With ease of accessibility and huge range of ability level you'll soon see why the Arkansas River is one of the States hot spots for summer vacationers for whitewater rafting.

Brown's Canyon   Class III

Beautiful, rocky canyon with pool-drop rapids. Widow maker, Zoom Flume, Pinball, and Seidel's Suckhole!

Minimum age varies with water levels.

The Numbers   Class IV (+)

Steep, rocky, technical rapids! Continuous whitewater paddling. Views of Colorado's highest peaks.

For experienced rafters and looking for a physical challenge. 16 years and older.

Granite/Pine Creek/Numbers   Class IV-V

The most challenging rafting on the Arkansas River! This section is continuous and is filled with pourovers and steep drops. In the heart of Colorado's highest peaks.This section does includes the Numbers portion as well.

For physically fit, experienced rafters.
Minimum age 18 years.

*We offer Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced level trips DAILY, from May through September.

*All trips include FREE wetsuits, wetsuit booties, splash jackets, helmets, and life jackets.

*A HOT LUNCH served riverside, or a SNACK is included on all trips.

*Special pricing available for children under 12 years old.
